CALL PUBLIC HEARING TO ORDER

Chairperson Macro called the meeting to order at 7:31 pm

ROLL CALL

Members present:        Chairperson Macro, Commissioner FitzPatrick, Commissioner Pitcock, Commissioner Klein
Members absent: Commissioner Jennings
Alternates present:     Commissioner Foley, Commissioner Evans, Commissioner Taylor
Alternates absent:      None

Commissioner Evans was sitting for Commissioner Jennings.

READING OF LEGAL NOTICE

Chairperson Macro read the Public Hearing Notice as published in the Journal Inquirer on September 28, 2011.

PRESENTATION OF APPLICATIONS FOR CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS – At two adjacent properties owned by the Hendersons and the Laveys.

  • Vinyl replacement windows at 1658 Main Street.  This involves approximately 32 double hung windows without grids.  The bow window on the South side of the first floor remains the same.
  • Placement of a shed in the front pasture at 1668 Main Street as a horse shelter.  A pre-built 12 foot by 18 foot structure is planned.  It would be located in the rear, north portion of the pasture with the opening facing west toward the street.  A photo was presented of a similar structure.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

  • Mr. Les Clapp, 1726 Main Street.
  • Mr. Greg Neary, 1576 Main Street.
CLOSE PUBLIC HEARING

Motion to close the Public Hearing was made by Commissioner FitzPatrick at 8:12 pm, seconded by Commissioner Klein and approved unanimously.
